There are many anti snoring products on the market that claim to prevent snoring, but many don't even have a scientific basis for their claims. Snoring is a silent killer that is most commonly associated with a sleep apnea problem (shortness of breath during sleep) and is the leading cause of death in people who suffer from chronic sleep disorders. This makes snoring one of the top medical conditions. Snoring is caused by the obstruction of airways in the neck and the snoring is a very serious and life-threatening disease. It is caused by a combination of genetics, brain function and a lack of oxygen to the brain. When snoring is aggravated by the brain or spinal cord, a person can suffer from loss of consciousness. This usually lasts for about an hour, but can go on for several hours, if not a few more. The symptoms of a person who has been injured in snoring include: loss of consciousness, confusion, fatigue, chest pain, difficulty breathing, loss of bladder control, severe headache, numbness and tingling on the skin and head, weakness, and an inability to move. The most important thing is to keep a person comfortable, but also to avoid excessive snoring.
